Danieli or Gritti

Going to Venice in October and have a choice with Frequent Flyer miles to stay at either. The Gritti is many more miles. Which one should we stay at???
thanks!

Gritti is worth the extra points. Been to both and both are nice but the major advantage to the Gritti is location and size. It is in an area that has less noise & congestion while still being very convenient and since the hotel is much smaller it has far fewer undesirable rooms. I have also stayed at the Europa Regina and won't return there either. I now only stay at the Gritti.

I agree with Carolyn..Gritti is a wonderful hotel in a perfect part of town. Do not forget to have that prosecco on the terrace at sunset!

Gritti, magnifico! However, have stayed at the Regina Europa and found it very nice with a quiet ambience and wonderful staff.

Definitely the Gritti Palace. It's a great location and I agree about the congestion around and near the Danieli, although I never stayed at the Danieli. It's definitely worth the splurge....you only live once!

Hope you have a wonderful trip.
