Dallas/FW Fodorites?

Ok, I just did a search and there ARE A LOT OF YOU! So, has anyone thought about having a get-together, like some of our fellowites on the left coast?

We had one a couple of years ago, met in Austin, and it was great fun. Count me in, if you're planning another one. I can probably round up 2 more if we meet in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

You can email me at [email protected].

Thanks,
Sandy (in Denton)

hey Sandy - thanks for the reply. Well, that makes four of us. How many did you have attending the Fodorite's Fling in Austin?
I spent about 5 years of my college life in Denton but that was eons ago!

Great to get responses!
Now, how to go about this.
Sandy-b, when you participated in one in Austin, how many attended?

First of all - a location should be determined. I'm suggesting Mid-Cities for convenience for all.
Any suggestions? Comments?

When we met in Austin, I'm thinking there were about 9-10 of us.

We met in a bar, upstairs . . . it was kinda quiet but a little dark . . . it would have been perfect if it hadn't been so dark (our pictures didn't turn out well and it was hard to look at everyone's trip photo albums).

We all had a great time, though, and it was really nice to put faces with screen names. And, I picked up a few hints for future trips.

I'm ready, just name the day, time, place . . .

I'm not (a Dallasite, that is); but I want you to know it's take me two hours to work out that you Texans didn't want to forward Fodorites

Hello fodorites in the great state of TEXAS! If you are going to pull this off, you will need someone to be the point person and organize it. I'm happy to offer the benefit of my experience --email me directly if you like.

The SF GTG is TONIGHT!! Can't wait!
