dalla mora, caneva, silva or doni?
 

Does anyone have feedback about the above hotels? We're on a budget and have been offered great rates at all 4. Dalla Mora had a great review in the Fodor's guide, but I'm wondering if anyone has stayed there?

Can't help you, as I don't recognize any of these names. But, just out of curiosity, what city are these are located in?

I knew I left something out! They're all in Venice.

We've staye d at Albergo Silva near Santa Maria Formosa- a great location and a pleasant hotel.

I stayed in the Silva in 1997. It was fine...big room, big breakfast. It was a little hard to find when we got off the water taxi, but the stores around it helped us find it. It ended up being really well located. The only thing we didn't like was that the owner was a mean old man who smoked, but we didn't deal with him much.

Actually we like the owner and his daughter. He is an old man who has a somewhat sarcastic sense of humor. We have stayed there five times.
