hi, we will be staying in munich for 6 days and would like to know names of companies that do tours outside Munich for one day.

Yosepha, this (Grayline = Autobus Oberbayern) is the best known company maybe even the oldest. Not that cheap, but I'd guess their tours are o.k.!
