Hofbrauhaus - lovely memories of talking to locals amidst the many foreign tourists - oompah bands and down-home German food - loosen the belt though the ubiquitous radishes are low calorie. Some pan the Hofbrauhaus as too full of tourists and there are several other German beer halls - indoor and out that are not but I always enjoyed my many sojourns there. Prost!

After Dachau go back to Munich and have a beer at the Hofbrauhaus. Much Nazi history occurred here.

Do Dachau by yourself. Very moving, but you do not need a guide.
