Da Vinci Code locations?

Does Dan Brown report locations or invent them? Could a tourist find them?

Certainly many locations are real.

The Louvre, the church of the Knights Templar in London, etc.

Which ones in particular were you interested in?

The eglise St Sulpice is also a real place.

I agree with jenifer and I loved the book as well as the precursor (not by him) that probably inspired it ("Holy Blood, Holy Grail") I think for someone who hasn't been to them, going to some of the spots mentioned would be fun. It is too bad that the whole notion has been more or less debunked...although I still keep meaning to look at "The Last Supper" AGAIN to see if what he says about it is true. Who will play the female role in the movie...and please do not say it will be Britney Spears!!!!

JonJon - How about Janet Jackson then? ;)

Actually, I could see them putting Jodie Foster in that role. But I think it would be fun if they cast a French actress who is not well known here in the states (in other words, not Audrey Tautou!).

By the way - that Dan Brown web site is very nicely done - lots of good info on the sites in the books. :)

Hi JonJon

It's true. One of the disciples is a woman.
