Dear Kathleen,
I hope nothing is broken as well. How awful!!! We do have to be careful on these cobblestone streets!!!! I fractured my ankle and foot a year ago at home and was very paranoid as it got closer to our travel date that the same thing would happen again. Luckily, it didn't. Hope you can manage the rest of your trip and hope you enjoy Prague and CK as much as we did. Please post a travel report when you are done.

I bought some awesome sandals I figure can handle those cobblestones (all we heard about during research). They are TeVa and I am pretty confident they will stand up. There is substantial Velcro to hold the straps in place and I have been able to walk all over in these and not have them loosen or slip and slide (as the other 3 pair of sandals I have tried seem to do). I've been wearing them without blisters for weeks now.

Kwoo...Thank you so much for Cervena Sedma on Kampa Island!!!
An absolutely great, great meal!! Old Bohemian Potato Soup, Chicken Wings with spicy chili sauce, great Schnitzel, Apple Strudel, many Kozel Black beers, wonderful, friendly servers. Just an absolutely great experience!!
Great recommendation!!

Masterphil,
So happy to hear you enjoyed Cervena Sedma just as much as we did. It's a great location, too.

tomboy..had Krusovice out of a bottle. Good, but the Kozel black was the clear winner on my tally sheet. I'm in Vienna now and I miss it already. I drank Austrian champagne with dinner tonight Actually, it was quite tasty.
Kwoo..I am very fortunate! Everyday has been sunny and temp > 80!

Hi tomboy,
No, we did not try to get the extended tour. I probably didn't know we could do that. We loved what we saw and didn't feel that we missed out on anything. Hluboka nad Vlatova is absolutely beautiful!!! And we enjoyed our lunch in town, too. When are you going?
