Need info re public email access sites for visitors in west Sussex.. Petworth, Midhurst...anywhere within ten miles or so (Haselmere, Surrey ?). <BR>Thanks

They are relatively small places and your best bet is to head for public libraries, almost all of them have net access, usually free or for a nominal charge. There are also certain BT callboxes that are equipped with net browser and email.

Internet cafes are quite common, much more so than in the U.S. However, small towns may not have them. I visited the small hamlet of Wool in Dorset and I didn't see any internet access. The libraries may have a sign-up list that has a waiting time of anywhere from minutes to days.
