Cute Puma Shoes!!
I've seen these really cute Puma sneakers that women are wearing. They come in all sorts of colors. They seem more fashionable than everything else I have seen. Anyone out there know the best style of these Pumas for lots of walking, the best color to wear abroad? Oh Ya, and the best place on-line or not to buy them? Thanks!!
|
I've been looking at these too, but was wondering about the comfort level when one has been walking for hours.
|
If you're talking about the ones that have a velcro strap, I have 2 pairs. One is leather, and better in wet weather.
They're very comfortable! I bought mine at Nordstroms. |
Dina,
What is the name of the style? Do you think they'd be a cute and decent walking shoe in Europe? Any color preferences? |
I ahve them in black (of course lol) and while they are comfortable to begin with, my feet ache after a long walk, so I am not sure how good they are for a day of sightseeing. But yes, they are cute :)

Try something like these:
http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/9173751/c/43983.html I have this same style (not the same color), but there are excellent. Very comfortable, and durable. I would definitely suggest the ripstop style. |
I have a pair of the Speed Cat lace-ups in black suede with baby pink stripe. They are incredibly comfortable...like slippers! I also saw on the PUMA website that they have a cute sandal-like version for summer. You can probably find them at any Foot Locker-type store.

Geez, I'm busy downloading off on Puma.com on my dinasaur dial-up. There are like a jiggidy-zillion styles!! What's a girl to do?!
|
I have these in mostly pink with gray trim (opposite of photo):
http://tinyurl.com/qgl76 I work out in them and they're definitely comfy. I also have the nonleather ones, that lesm is showing at zappos. Mine are a few years old, so different colors (white with navy), but those shoes are VERY comfy. They are like slippers. The only problem is if you walk on damp grass (or it rains), your socks get wet! Also worked out in those. They seem like they have no support because they're very flat, but they're great. |

Seeksocean- Perhaps you are thinking of the H street lace-ups? If so, I tell you that they are incredibly reliable shoes. I wore a pair all over the world until they had nothing left on the bottom but a thin layer of smooth rubber.
They have no foot support, though, so are horrible for working out and walking. . . sort of like wearing ballet shoes out in public. I still swore by them, though. Now I am onto Diesels. |
Hmm,
I need arch support. I guess I'll just have to go to a store and try some different styles on. I like the Diesels as well, Thanks! |
Adding an orthotic arch support to these sorts of shoes will help a lot. Don't expect them to provided adequate support for lots of walking without an orthotic, but they will accomodate them and can be very comfortable indeed.
And cute, of course, altogether crucial. |
Yaaa, the ole arch support...good idea. Well, I looked on-line and I liked the Mostro H St. in Black. I also liked the Diesels. I'll have to find a store and check it out.
I have Dansko shoes as my other footware, both in a stylee sandal and the black oiled classic. |
I have these:
http://www.zappos.com/n/p?dp=11168492&c=52572 i wore them touring around Washington DC last week, and plan to wear them next week in Italy. I will let you know how they do! |
Those Puma look nice. What color did you get? PLEASE write something on how they did in Italy! Thanks!

I have 2 pairs of Puma Sabadella's and I love them!
