Customs in Venice Marco Polo Airport

Does anyone have any idea the approximate time it takes to get through customs in Venice at the airport? We are not checking bags so that will eliminate some time.

If you have already landed in an EU contry then it will take no time at all. If you have not then it also will take very little time

It should be 'Schengen' country. If you change plane in London (UK is in EU but not in Schengen), you still arrive at the international section of the airport and go through passport control and customs. Either way, it won't take long - maybe 10-15 min?

About 20 minutes from touching down to walking out of Customs/Immigration, assuming that you are flying to Venice from outside the EU.

Alec makes a good point about the difference between Schengen and EU countries.

Assuming you are coming from outside Schengen - customs takes no time at all - you just walk through the green line. What may take a few minutes is Immigration (before Customs) again assuming you are coming from out side Schengen.
