current best wisdom on taxis from CDG to 17eme

We are older folk (83/65) and headed for 2 weeks in Paris. We've rented an apartment in the 17eme and so will have enough luggage (2 suitcases, 2 carry-ons) that we don't want the schlepp it on trains and Metro.

Get a taxi at CDG? How much is that likely to cost? General advice?

Thanks so much.

Set, flat rate:

"if you're travelling from the Charles de Gaulle airport, you'll pay €55 for a trip heading anywhere on the Left Bank and €50 for anywhere on the Right Bank. "

They set a flat rate for taxis from the airport a year or so ago, must have been since the last time you were there. So good news.

There are no longer any charges for luggage, either.
You'll just pay the flat rate.
You might print out the address - including the Postal Code - so there won't be any confusion.

Use only the official taxi queue. Hustlers may sidle up to you in the airport corridors; dismiss them with your haughtist French glare.
