Currency questions - first time trip

Leaving on a business trip tomorrow to London, Amsterdam and Florence. Do I need to get currency for each country or do I just get Euros. Sorry for such a lame question but no time to research. Thanks in advance.

You will need pounds for London and Euros for the rest.

If this is a double posting I am sorry. Not sure what happened.

i also need suggestions on what to see in London for one day. I will only have 1 day to sightsee. Staying at the airport, I've been told to take the tube into the city centre but then what?

Again thanks for any suggestions.

London uses British pounds and in Amsterdam and Florence they use Euros. If you have an ATM card with a 4 numeral pin that does not start with a zero you should be able to usr that to get what you nedd. Call your bank and tell them you will be traveling.

For London, buy a one-day Travelcard for zones 1-6. This will take care of all your transport. You can probably get away without any cash if all you buy is the ticket, food, and souvenirs. Use a credit card for purchases and a debit or ATM card for cash if necessary.

I would ride the Tube to Piccadilly Circus and get on the #15 bus (the old double-deckers) and ride to Tower Hill, then the RV1 down the south bank. Here's a map of the bus and Tube routes that connect the major sights:

You can pick up a printed one when you buy your ticket.

But a guidebook to London in the airport and read it on the plane. Then you'll know what YOU want to see/do.
