CRUISE - GREEK ISLES
 

We are planning our "first" cruise and would like to tour the Greek Isles. Would appreciate any suggestions or recommendations.

Its a wonderful trip - done it twice. First ship was not good, second was better( I think it was Costas).
Loved Ephesus, Santorini, Rhoads, Mykonos. Have a great time.

My husband and I will have 12 days in Greece. We would like to see some of the Islands and the normal tourist items. However, before flying back to reality I would like to spend 4-5 days just crashing on one of the Islands. Just to relax and be a Native. Any suggestions? Samos looks interesting? Any help greatly appreciated.

Forget Samos unless you want package tourist hell. See my response to your posting.

We took a Yacht cruise of the Greek Islands, about 4 years ago. I would recommend this as the way to see the island. -missing the throngs of the big ships and anchoring in smaller harbors.
