Cruise/Ferry from Alesund-Bergen
 

Hi,

I'm preparing for a 14 day driving tour in Norway, starting in Bergen driving to various locations (still to be decided!) and ending up in Alesund.
I was wondering if there's any form of travel from Alesund to Bergen that won't involve me driving (will probably be knackered by then!) for example a cruise/ferry or flight? I know that the Norwegian Costal Voyage travels between these 2 locations but their website shows a minimum of 6 days which is not what I want.

It's about a 40 minutes flight - www.braathens.no

The coastal steamer, www.hurtigruten.no, passes Ålesund on it's way to Bergen, and there's no requirement of travelling for a certain time on it - www.hurtigruten.no But as far as I remember it gets to Bergen quite early, so probably leaving Ålesund at nighttime.

And there's bus... www.morebil.no and www.nsbillag.no should contain the schedules, although maybe in Norwegian only.
