Cruise
We are considering a cruise from Moscow to St Petersburg with a group of friends on MS Doctor Zhivago. Can anyone help with answers to a few questions specific to this ship.
How is the food? Are the Junior suites worth the money over standard cabins? How is the service and overall experience on board? Thanks Bruce e |
Hi B,
I think that you will get more help if you take your question to the "Cruises" forum. ((I)) |
Brucee: You already posted this and got a couple of good answers. To find all of your posts, click on your name. And as ira says, you also might want to re-post on the cruise forum - but use a more detailed title.
(Your other thread had a much better title BTW. "Cruise" could be asking anything about any cruise in Europe.) |
IMO, extra cabin space is always worth the extra money.

Does this cruise company allow you to stay in a hotel in St. Pete & Moscow? If not, a lot of time will be wasted traveling back & forth to the ship. We did the cruise with GCT & liked being in hotels in the cities.

I agree with MARSH
There are so many cruise lines between the two major cities and you want to make sure you are at good hotels in each city. Visiting the villages along the river is interesting because it takes you back in time; but you will enjoy the amenities a whole lot more with a comprehensive tour company. We just took the Grand Circle tour to Russia this past September and it was EXCELLENT in every respect. Any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me direct. email: [email protected] |
