Crowne Plaza St Peter's Yes/No?
 

We got such a good deal at this hotel-anyone have any experience with them,especially the shuttle they offer into the center of Rome and the airport?<BR>Thanks

When we flew home from Rome last Tues., I caught a glimpse of this hotel as we were on our way to the airport. The grounds looked nice, but I remember thinking it was an AWFULLY long way from anything interesting in Rome - even from St. Peters. If you are planning to really experience Rome, I'd stay somewhere else.

We stayed there last year and yes it's a little out of town maybe 2 miles but we found it refreshing to get out of the heat,noise,dust and relax in the pool a couple of evenings.The shuttle is fine just get one early in the morning and plan to spend the day in town.Tip the driver and he'll treat you well!
