Crown Blue boats in Burgandy or Alsace Lorraine

I've read through a lot of past posts on barging since we are planning to do a bare boat trip in the fall of 2005. On the Crown Blue website there are so many different types of boats that it's overwhelming. Can anyone recommend a specific boat class that they've rented and were particularly happy with? We want at least two double berths with 2 baths.

Thanks so much.

A group of us, Americans all, chose Crown Blue when we bare-boated Burgundy out of St. Jean de Losne. We rented 2 of the "Classiques"... When you look at the website, it appears that the two aft rooms have twin beds...the beds push together and make doubles. Don't even count the "double" that lays right behind the bow's bedroom. That room might sleep a toddler (we used it for "storage"). Otherwise, the "galley's" were beautifully stocked; two nice bathrooms, each actually "is" a shower and the salon VERY comfortable, and those who did it on our trip said the boats were easy to manage. The Locks? Now, that was a different story.

Thanks, Suzie.

What happened with the locks? You've got my curiosity going!

Also, which direction did you go in out of St. Jean de Losne?
