<BR>Well, after a year of waiting and wondering, we finally made the plunge (again). My sister and I had planned and then had to cancel a trip to Italy/Sicily for March of this year. We were able to get credit for our bought tickets and have gotten new seats on a flight to Italy for March 2003!<BR><BR>I'm so excited. It's been WAY too long between vacations for me. Wish my luck and keep your fingers crossed that this one doesn't fall through as well!<BR><BR>Questions to come soon enough. Just sharing my good news and excitment.

I share in your excitement of going on vacation, and hope that nothing gets in your way!<BR>I have been dreaming of going to Italy since I had seen my grandparents pictures from Venice when I was 7. 18 years later, I am getting my chance in 5 weeks. My husband and I will be celebrating our 3rd anniversary touring Rome, Florence, and Venice- (we will be in Assisi the day of our anniversary) and I can barely sit still I am so excited!

<BR>Melissa, I LOVED Assisi. It was peaceful and just lovely. Do me a favor and make sure to have a gelato at the place just at the base of the cathedral. I can't remember it's name, but it serves MANY flavors and I think it's the best in Italy. ;)

Hi! Woohoo! A teacher I work with is spending a month in Italy this summer! If you have questions I can pass them on to her! Ofcourse, this board is such a great forum! We are excited for you!
