Croatia too busy or just right?
Hello,
I have read through trip reports and appreciate all the information I have received but still need to know if my trip is too busy. We will have just finished a trip to Egypt and Jordan so are looking for a more relaxed pace. Your help is appreciated. Unfortunately we are arriving and departing from Zagreb. Should we drop car off in Split and take ferries to Dubrovnik and go to Mostar from Split? I have 2 extra nights left, any suggestions where i should use them?
Arrive late afternoon Zagreb
2nt Zagreb
1nt Rovinj
1nt Plitvice visit Togir
4nt Split visit Hvar & Brac day trips
3nt Dubrovnik visit Montenegro
1nt Mostar drive back to Zagreb

The best place to relax coming from Cairo or Amman would be Cyprus.
If it must be Croatia, I would suggest:
check wether it wouldn't be better to fly to Dubrovnik instead of Zagreb (plane change at Athens)
skip Rovigno, it's not along your itinerary.
don't spend more than a full day at Zagreb. May be you could move to Plitvice in the afternoon of day 2.

I agree with neckervd, drop Rovinj, it makes zero sense,
I don't agree to have less time in Zagreb, though. But what you can consider doing is, driving to Plitvice then down to Split, visit Mostar on the way to Dubrovnik, but drop the car off and fly back to Zagreb on a puddle jumper a day or two before your flight home departs.
