Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia Itinerary July

Any advice would be greatly appreciated for July trip. I have flights and hotels booked but some things are easily changeable. As a caveat, we are in our 30s and love to explore new places and new foods. Except big cities, we don't stick to 1 place for more than 3 days. This might be a bit too packed?

Day 1 - Arrive in Dubrovnik at 2pm
Day 2 - Free day to explore Dubrovnik
Day 3 - Day trip to Kotor/Budva (Montenegro)..back to Dubrovnik by evening
Day 4 - free time for Dubrovnik until 4pm ferry to Hvar, arrive 7:30pm in Hvar
Day 5 - free day to explore Hvar
Day 6 - free day to explore Hvar
Day 7 - quick ferry over to Split, all day and evening in Split
Day 8 - car rental pick-up and drive to Plitvice Lakes, explore Lakes
Day 9 - more time at the lakes, or early drive to Ljubljana, explore Lj
Day 10 - day trip up to Lake Bled
Day 11 - full day in Ljubljana, evening drive do Zagreb, evening in Zagreb
Day 12 - return car, 8am flight out

Thoughts? Too much?

Looks fine. Pretty simple if quick trip. I haven't been to Hvar but otherwise, everything you suggest looks like it would work to me.

My only suggestion would be to perhaps spend more time in Zagreb. We loved Ljubljana but one day is plenty. We regret not having more time to spend in Zagreb - we arrived around 4pm and left early the next morning for our flight back to the U.S. I feel like we missed out on the museums and just exploring the city more. We were charmed by it with the little bit that we experienced.
