I loved both Trogir and Split, but nonetheless am surprised at how much time you are giving to this area. Trogir can be seen in about 1/2 day; Split in 2 days. Your schedule would only make sense to me if you prefer an extremely relaxed pace and want to see just about everything and anything that can be seen in both places. But with SO much to see in other parts of Croatia, I'm not sure your plan makes the best possible sense.

> Hvar 4 nights

Again, that seems very generous to me, but maybe you plan to visit Vis from Hvar or have other reasons for staying so long.

> most likely by bus to Dubrovnik for 5 nights

I think most people would think 3 or 4 nights sufficient in Dubrovnik, even counting a day trip to Montenegro, but again, it depends on your interests and preferred tastes.

Given that you seem to have the time, you might want to consider carving out a day for the Plitvice Lakes - stunning!

Hope that helps!

You will not find bungee jumping from the bridge in Dubrovnik. That activity no longer exits here.

I'm arriving very late at 21 pm from the airport so 1st night is simply rest and wake up at leasure...so Trogir being cheaper made more sence to me...I dont want to haste through Croatia with my luggage...and Yes I'm plunning to visit Vis and whatever else croatia offers.
Plitvice Lakes is gorgeous...how do I get there...Is it a FULL DAY trip?
Also on Montenegro I cant seem to find how to get there from Dubrovnik? BUS?

I found good deals on my accomodations so take time and relax makes sence to me.
Thanks for the input,

Serge.

I agree with kja. I like to travel slowly, but in Croatia these places are close together but that deos not mean they necessarily always are easy to do day trips to/from. Vis for example needs three days in my opinion. And it makes no sense to go back to Split after Hvar when you could take a ferry and stop at Korcula en route to Dubrovnik. (Though if the ferry does not work out the bus from Split is probably faster.)
