Croatia ideas with young child

Jump to last reply

We're ready to get back in the travel saddle. Our son will be almost 2 years old this summer and we're itching to take a "real" trip after we spent a week at an all-inclusive in Mexico this past fall. IF DH can get the time off, we plan to go to Croatia for a week in early July and then will meet my parents, sister, brother-in-law and nephew in Florence and Lucca for the second week to visit our family there and hang out.

Obviously a week in Croatia is not enough to see much, we know that. And with a toddler, it will be even more challenging. With that in mind, what makes the most sense? Dubrovnik with day trips? Dubrovnik and one other place with day trips? I have actually been to Split, Medjugorie and Mostar several years ago but did not see nearly enough. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated as always!
