Croatia & Balkans Covid and Itinerary Feedback

I will be traveling in the Balkans for 2-weeks beginning august 11 and am very interested in understanding more about the restrictions and requirements in place, including moving between countries, during Covid. Any insights you can provide re itinerary would also be much appreciated.

I am coming from the US and meeting my sister and brother-in-law who are coming from Israel. We have all been vaccinated.

We are planning to meet in Dubrovnik and spend the weekend and then arrange a day trip to Montenegro. — is this possible during Covid?

We are then planning to rent a car drive up to Mostar, stay overnight and then to Sarajevo and overnight. COVID restrictions crossing the border into BiH from Croatia and back?

Drive to Split and return the car.
Weekend in split and one day to Havar.

Fly to Zagreb and pick up a car to drive to Ljubljana overnight there. Next day to Lake Bled and the return to Zagreb for 2 nights before leaving. COVID restrictions crossing the border to Slovenia and return ?

I would very much appreciate your insights and good counsel,

Sharon

If you have been vaccinated, you should have no problem crossing borders but things can change pretty rapidly.

You are moving around so much, in August waiting at the borders could be a major pain in the A** even without Covid restrictions. One night each in Mostar and Sarajevo is not enough, you are basically just transiting.

It will be a nicer trip if you slow things down a little and limit the border crossings, maybe focus on Croatia and when you arrive, see what day trips to other countries are feasible…
