Thanks again for the post. I must not have been clear when I responded. We did, in fact, check with Auto Europe specifically about Bosnia AND Montenegro. We have clearance for both at a price of $72.00USD.
I think you are right, Montenegro sounds just right for us. And, I'm delighted to read that you thought the Plitvice Lakes were so beautiful!
We're excited about this trip and can't imagine it's not going to be filled with wonder and natural beauty.
