Crete or Sicily?

Hi,

I'm kind of planning where to go on vacation next year and I have in mind one of these two islands. If you had to choose between Crete and Sicily to spend your next vacation, which one would you visit and why?

We loved Sicily, but we had 15 days to explore. YOu do not say when or how long. But, here are 72 reasons why Sicily is always a good choice.

Both these places are on my wish list also. Bob, you make a persuasive argument.

I'd go to Sicily. Becuase I haven't been there and I have been to Crete.

But to make a judgement for you, I'd have to know more about YOUR priorities:)

Loved Sicily, liked Crete a lot. Would return to Sicily before Crete.

Hi everybody,

Thans for your comments and opinions. So far, I think Sicily will be my next destination. I've been reading about both places and Sicily seems to be more appealing than Crete (somehow Crete doesn't seem to be what I had in mind).

What are my priorities when I'm choosing a destination? I love good food, beaches and cities with a lot of culture and charm. My family is italian and I've never been to the south, so, perhaps, that's why I'm also leaning towards Sicily.

Thanks again.
