I may be misremembering, but I don't recall there being a car ferry between Paleochora and Agia Roumeli. Are you suggestingthere is? |

I don't understand your question. Am I suggesting that I took a car ferry? It seems to me that I stated my journey using the car ferry. Are you implying that I made this up? For ferry schedules in this area--with or without cars see www.sfakia-crete.com/sfakia-crete/ferries.html |

That sounds very miuch like what I was thinking. Of course you had a longer time frame but I'd be interested in hearing more of your adventures. Would you be willing to e-mail me directly? I have a few questions I'd like to ask you. Such as your accomodation in Paleochora, etc. [email protected] cheers and thanks |
Sorry, I didn't mean to give offense. It's just I spent a week in an apartment overlooking the ferry jetty in Paleochora and I have NO recollection of there being car ferries, only passenger ones. I posted the ferry link myself; but it doesn't give car prices nor does it indicate if ferries are car errie or passenger ferries (although, right enough, I'm sure the Gavdos ferry was a car ferry). Ah well; live and learn.
