Credit card not accepted forTGV on sncf-voyages
Okay, I finally got thepage translated, found a great PREM price, filled out everything, but it would not take my AE card. The tip it gave me was that the security code was 4 digits on the front of the card...well it is 3 digits on the back of the card. Anyone have any ideas? I really want to buy the tickets and print them out.
Thanks in advance. Jean |
No, it is 3 digits on the back or a Visa or Master Card. It is 4 digits above the embossed digits on the front of an Amex card.

Something is wrong with your info, I have an AMEX and it is 4 digits on the front, they are right. It's those small four numbers above the card number on the far right of the card.

I have a Citi Amex which does have the 4 digits on the far right as previously described but it also does have 3 extra digits on the back like Visa and MC as well - maybe that's what is confusing you, pumpkin....

My card does have 3 digits on the back, but they aren't the security code. I don't know what they are, all I know is whever asked for it by someone, they tell me it is the 4 digits on the front, so that's what I give them and I just believe them. It works, so that must be true. No one has ever told me those 3 digits on the back are a security code.

Amex Cards security code is 4 numbers and is on the front of the card. If you had the card in front of you, you could easily see it. (Have had a card for 30 years and it's been on the front as as long as they had them.)

AMX cards security code is ABSOLUTELY the four digits on the face of the card. Try again.
