Will the cows be part of the show at the Moo-lin Rouge??

On April 29 in Petaluma, CA (north of San Francisco) the town will have the annual butter and egg days parade where people will be dressed as cows.

Everybody's invited! No costume, but I will be there!

Arrrrgh. First the cows invaded my hometown, which was silly. What the heck do cows have to do with NYC? Then, I visit Florence for a week last November and there were them cows again. Now I'm headed to Paris in April and - yikes, more moos. I guess I just don't get it.

I have to say, I could do without cows on my Paris trip in May. It's so Chick-fil-A. (some of you get that)

Maitai : Good chuckle. The fortune teller bit was udderly inspired !

A few summers ago, our fair city of Toronto was populated with 100 - 200 life-sized, 3D, artist/celebrity/theme painted moose on street corners and elsewhere. It was fun seeing them at first, but the novelty soon wore off.
Seems like its the thing to do for tourism and charity nowadays.

I wonder how this will impact the French cheese industry?

I guess I will feel completely at home in Paris in April - A little bit of Wisconsin in Paris!
