COVID testing at the FRA airport

Thank you in advance for your help. I am hoping someone knows the procedure for COVID testing for a departing flight to the US. I depart FRA on Monday. I will be traveling via train from Marseille to Frankfurt on Sunday. I will not have access to a pharmacy to get a COVID test on Sunday as most pharmacies are closed on Sunday.
I have found that they are doing COVID testing at the airport. Does anyone know the process? Should I arrive an additional hour early for a test? Do I check in with my baggage and then proceed to the testing center? Or, will I not be allowed to check-in until I've received a test and results? Do I arrive at the airport and just take my bags with me to find the testing location?
I am departing out of Terminal 2. The COVID testing in Terminal 2 is located on level U4 at the connection to the parking garage. I'm just trying to gauge the time I will need if I will have all my bags with me.
Thanks for any information you can provide.

I was just looking this up earlier as I may need a test later this summer. It looks like you need to make an appointment: https://www.frankfurt-airport.com/en...e-airport.html and https://flughafen-frankfurt.ecocare.center/en.

Hopefully someone who has done this recently can be of more help.

Yes! I'm hoping someone who has done it recently can provide some clarity.
Thanks!
