Covid test required before I fly out of Madrid returning to UK
 

Hello there,

We are flying to Spain for just under 3 weeks over Christmas and a requirement of the UK govt is to test negative before boarding our flight back from Spain: this is worrying with Omicron being so infectious - if I test positive, can I choose where to isolate in Spain that is less expensive?

This official website explains the procedure for isolation if you test positive in Spain- you are on your own to self-isolate for 10 days but first to contact immediately the local healthcare authorities via the information hotline.
