Covid Test

I am wondering what kind of Covid test you had before traveling to Europe. The short or the long test.

There is no single 'Europe' rule. Different countries have different rules (and rules change all the time) -- so either tell us where you are traveling or search the official sites for the country(s) you'll be visiting.

Flying from Naples to the US with transit through CDG, we used the Abbott/Binax antigen tests (**with Telehealth**) from eMed. We brought them with us from the US and had used them to arrive in Italy. We brought them because we had a 6 a.m. flight out of Naples and arrived in Naples the afternoon before, so weren't sure about finding a pharmacy, the timing, etc.

For us, these worked great! Got on with proctor right away, it took about 20 minutes.

The "rule" as of our trip (October) was within 3 days of arrival in Italy; for returning to the US, was within 72 hours.

The US accepts rapid antigen test as does Italy - happy travels
