This novice is asking help of you expert London travelers!<BR><BR>We'll be in London the first week of April -- staying at the County Hall Travel Inn. Right now the room rate is GBP 74.95 per night. I know that's good -- but just thought I'd ask if anyone might know of any discounted deals for this hotel?? Or are there any sites that you could direct me to? Or should I just be grateful for this rate??<BR><BR>Thanks in advance.

I live down the street and have been inside the hotel to ask the same question for when my family comes in town! According to the front desk, that is the only rate, every day, until the mgmt. raises it. I would be very interested to find out if there are any discounts offered by another broker, etc. <BR><BR>I also went up to look at a room, and it was not bad. Nothing spectacular, but nice and clean and had all of the basics. It's really a great location!

I doubt very much if you can getting anything off their rack rate. It's a very popular hotel and occupancy level is high. In fact I searched for vacancy in the first week of April on-line and drew blank. It's Easter week and London is very busy, esp with European visitors.

I have stayed at this hotel and it is a very popular hotel. I don't think they have any reason to discount, their business seems to be brisk enough to keep them going.

their "rack rate" IS a discount rate. they could easily charge 40 to 50 GBP more - that is why they are always full.
