Country visit from Stockholm for Midsummer

Thanks for your replies. We have now decided to spend 7 nights after a cruise in Stockholm. We will be there over midsummer. Can anyone suggest a country getaway for a couple of nights for the midsummer celebrations? and how to get there?

Go to Stonehenge? Hop on a plane and fly to London.

Is England not a country getaway? o.0

If you mean country as in not the city, I know there's a big one that my Swedish musician friends go to every year. If you're nice, I can find out the name of it.

You might want to check out Visby in the island of Gotland. Or stay on one of the beautiful islands in the Stockholm archipelago.
