What is the country code for the US. I believe it is 011 but not sure. Also what is the country code in London?

to call the us from the uk all you do is dial 011 + area code + number...<BR><BR>to call the uk it it 44 (countrycode) + 20(city code for london) + the number.<BR>easy as pie!!!!<BR><BR>hope this helps<BR>lisa

Country code for the US is 01<BR><BR>The 011 is the code to reach international services, just as the the first digit of a long distance call in the US is "1".

P.S. Just found out the hard way, if you call your AT&amp;T operator to ask her what our country code is, you get charged $7.95.
