We leave in 13 days for a week in London and a week in Paris. First time for both of these places and only 2nd trip to Europe. First time to Europe for my parents who will be coming with us.
I am pretty well prepared. Looking forward to seeing all the incredible sites and learning more about the history, and of course eating and shopping!!!

San Juan, Puerto Rico, for a week in May.
Then France again! I'm definitely addicted. I can't count the times I've been to Paris.
This coming September, it will be a week in Normandy and another week in Brittany. And of course, a few days in Paris.

Next trip to Europe is in 35 days. It's to Germany and Switzerland and Italy. Probably about my 20th time.
I've got tickets, hotel for the first few nights and the last two nights. The rest is "seat of the pants" go with the flow. We have a rental car so can go, see, do "whatever..."
(My next trip is in 12 days, but not to Europe) It's my second trip to Valley Forge PA.

I leave in 22 days for my 9th trip to Paris.
I still need to do some shopping to add to my wardrobe, but other than that I'm ready!
What I'm looking forward to most is the FOOD, and hopefully more "romantic" adventures.

6 days until my next trip which is San Francisco but that doesn't explain why I am hanging around the Europe forum. 217 days until we leave for Italy, our first time there. I have tickets and accommodations booked. Excited doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about it!

I forgot to mention that Tiff's trip report is part of the inspiration for deciding to do Italy next. It's our first trip to a non-English speaking country (unless you count Scotland or Ireland or Wales!)

Six weeks today we fly to London for a couple of days. London is familiar territory. Then to Lisbon (first time) for a week, including a couple of days at a professional meeting. Then back to London and pick up a car to tour southern England (Bath, Salisbury) and Wales for a week, also new territory. It's all booked but for the second last night. I look forward to all of it.

24 days to my trip to France. Have been 3 times before, but always Paris & vicinity. This time 11 days total: Avignon (with day trip to Nimes); Dijon; Paris for a few days with a side trip to Rouen.
I swore I would save money and stay in US/Canada this year. Maybe one roadtrip down south and one to use air miles to Vancouver, but airfare deals just too good to pass up to Paris.
In fact, now that I'm taking this trip, I almost have enough frequent flyer miles for another European trip instead of US/Canada. Maybe this fall...? Hmmm, where to?

Three weeks to go, then three months in Europe - fourth long trip since I took early retirement. Starts in Greece, ends in London.
Looking forward most to - Delphi, Knossos, Crimea, northern Romania, lovely, lovely Alps, and of course London. First and last parts are set, middle still a work in progress.
I'll feel a lot less stressed after I get my leaky roof replaced - Tuesday I hope! I still have some financial stuff to organize, and I can always read more.

13 days until Maui! I have plane tickets and I'm going with my mom, who booked the vacation home exchange, so I have a place to stay but know nothing about it (of course I'm not paying a dime for this trip either, since it's mom's treat. So it could be a hole for all I care. It's warm, it's free, it's Hawaii!)
This will be my first trip to Hawaii. I'm working 80 hour weeks lately so I need it. Especially a trip with the hubby and kids left home!
I haven't had any time to get prepared (don't know when I will either!), But let me pack a bathing suit and bring a few novels and I'm happy.
I do plan to kayak with whales, take the road to Hana, and mom wants to do a luau. A massage on the beach sounds good too.
Ah.....13 more days....just get me through 13 more days.....

Six days before we depart Toronto for Prague, Vienna, Salzburg, Venice, Luzern, and Bacharach over a 15 day trip. Four chaperones, 31 teenagers (aged 15 - 19), all with an appetite for adventure. We travel with our own coach for the whole time. We developed our own itinerary (not a packaged school tour) and have filled it with culture, museums, walking tours, yodelling lessons, gondola rides, Rhine cruise, a day at the spa at Baden Baden etc. It will be a wonderful, exhausting time.

I'm leaving for Italy in 82 days!!!
First time - visiting Rome, Florence, and Venice.
Airfare is booked as well as hotels, although I am still researching hotels to make sure we haven't missed anything, so any suggestions would be welcome!
Now I'm reading everything I can about each city so we can make the most of our time there - only have 10 days, not counting travel time. This forum has been very helpful - thanks for all the input!
What I hope will be the highlights of the trip:
Ancient Rome & The Vatican (still waiting to hear back regarding the Scavi tour)
A day trip from Florence through the Chianti region to Sienna and/or San G, and lots of Italian wine - we won't be driving!
A few romantic days in Venice with my hubby - sadly heading back home on my birthday.
Can't wait!!!

This is the most traveling I've ever done in a year (and it's all in the 1st 5 months!): LA in 3 weeks to visit a friend; France in just over 2 months (2nd time in France), taking my mom because she's finally retiring; and maybe a trip to Vegas (1st time) with friends squeezed in mid-April. Pretty sure there will be a Europe trip in the fall again. 2006 is looking great!
