Couminole Cottage Question for Songdoc

This cottage looks charming and beautifully located, but I'm concerned that from the pictures, it appears that the road runs by right outside the door. Since we would be staying in June, I wondered if the traffic going by the cottage would be intrusive. Do you think this would be a problem?

Any other recommendations for cottage rentals in the area? This would be for June 2009. Thanks in advance!

I'm curious as well. How did you like your stay Songdoc?

Thanks,
Fisher

I believe several other regular posters have also stayed at this cottage on Slea Head drive, Dingle Penninsula, Ireland. Any comments would be welcome!

If you do a search on this page, you'll find my trip report from last October.

The cottage is enchanting - so much so that we're returning this October and can't wait!

We did not find the traffic intrusive at all, although I'm sure there will be much more of it in the summer months. The road that runs in front of the cottage is only wide enough for one car, so the driving is very slow. We actually enjoyed sitting outside and visiting with people stopping to take pictures.

Thanks so much, o1012, for your feedback about the cottage.

Songdoc, if you see this, I'd still love to have input from you. How did Couminole Cottage compare to the one at Limehouse where you stayed on another trip? Did the road outside take away from your stay at Couminole?

Thanks again!

We are leaving April 24th for a week at Couminole Cottage. I will write a trip report when we get back. I can't wait!
