Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could help me out in identifying this building. I've come across some photos online and am trying to find the name of the building. It's a chateau i'm i'm pretty sure it's in Belgium, the original image had hospital in the title, maybe it's in the grounds of a hospital. Thanks in advance, Paul

Do you know the real name of it? I've just had a look Under that name and it doesn't seem to be the right name

From the bcd-urbex.com site:

"Salve Mater Sanatorium was a psychiatric hospital in Belgium, set up by the Sisters of Mercy to treat only women. The hospital closed in 1997 and is now used by an artist."

It doesn't, thats why i thought i'd have an ask here. It's not the real name

It is in Lovenjoel, near Leuven. Do not break in. There are contact details on the door, and the caretaker will allow you in after you make an appointment. The whole hospital is closed now and available for urbex, with permission. Don't screw it up for others by attempting to bypass the caretaker.

Does anybody know the real name or address? I'd rather get permission before I head over from the UK

It is the Salve Mater, and you can only get permission once you are there. The caretaker leaves contact details on the gate. The idea is to keep it quiet, and not have it overrun by togs and vandals who will inevitably follow.
It is signposted apparently, so should be easy enough find.

Are you sure Salve Mater is the same place as the château TS is looking for? The pics I find from Salve Mater (http://leuvenexploration.jimdo.com/n...m/salve-mater/) are totally different from the ones of Château JM (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...5884997&type=1).

Well I can tell you that they are my images with the watermark cropped out. cheers OP... was that you who cropped them or did you find them like this somewhere else?
