Cottages in Ireland

We are renting a cottage in Ireland for a month. What would you suggest we take with for living in one place for a month? We are pretty certain what we will need clothes-wise,but are wondering about housekeeping/food items.

I have not stayed that long in Ireland. My guess
is that 1-1.5 weeks worth of clothes would be enough.
I would guess you will have access to a laundry. I
am guessing there are grocery stores and other shops
that will provide most of your needs. I would
recommend an electric converter so you can run
a hair dryer or charge your camcorder. You will
most likely need a 3 prong plug with 1 hortizontal
pring on the top and 2 vertical prongs on the bottom.
I was not able to find a converter, so buy this in
the United States. Try a store like Radio Shack.

Hi,
Firstly I hope you have a very pleasant stay.
Secondly depending on the time of year and the activities you wish to do, a rain coat ( not too warm) and a good pair of walking shoes are always a good idea. After that a couple of good books , some wine (it's more expensive here) and any favourite
snacks.

enjoy,
Tim.

My husband and I will be travelling in Ireland in August. We were informed that the weather can be unpredictable and to ensure an umbrella was in the luggage. Hope you have a wonderful time. I'm curious..how did you locate the cottage? Did you go through a Registry or an Agency? Please respond. Thanks.
