Cottage Glenbeigh or Castlemaine Co. Kerry area, pros and cons?

Hi Bob, wonderful to hear from you and I almost missed your post!
We leave tomorrow and I had just popped back to Fodors to see what was new.
Thanks for the contact details, will definitely try and catch up with you between 15th and 19th. We will be doing day trips from the cottage near Castlemaine during that period, so could work well.
I had to leave planning and researching for quite awhile with my Mum's sudden illness so feel a little rusty now but the "real thing" will be in front of us in a little over 48 hours now.
I have added your number to Tripit so will be in touch.
