I stayed in this B&B in Stow in May 1999: #9 Park St. (46 lbs/night)- rented it upon arrival at the tourist bureau. Had the top floor room, which wasn?t too bad altho? best to take light luggage. Great location and easy parking for the night after 6:00 pm. Very clean, nice hosts, lobby where I could sit and read. They placed a small decanter of Sherry in the room. Very short walk to main part of town. The hosts couldn't have been nicer and served an excellent breakfast. Ate one night at the King?s Arms pub, jacket potato filled with curried chicken ? excellent and well priced. From Stow I drove thru several villages getting a great overview of the Cotswald and thatched cottages. Any questions, e-mail me at [email protected]

The Burford House in Burford. Really, one of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed in. Only 7 rooms, and a really fabulous breakfast. Burford is a charming town, too.

We spent some nights in Broad Campden Gloucestershire, Cotswolds, at "Malt House". Very cosy place with lovely gardens, veggie garden, and delicious dinners cooked by the lady of the house!!!Very comfortable en suite bathroom - suite! We recovererd from our jet-lag after touring the US for three weeks.

Nancy = "46 lbs/night"!? - does this mean you put on all that weight? was the food that good ;)
We write 'pounds' or £ :). |
There is a lovely quaint little medieval village in the Cotswolds that I absolutely love and highly recommend called Stanton. Though I have only done self-catering in this area, I know there is a B&B just across and slightly up the road from where we stay.
