Costa Del Sol, Spain in December

How is Costa Del Sol in December? Is the vegetation in that part of Spain still green? It is a pretty time to go. I do understand it is not the best time but it is nice enough.

Thanks

It's still green, but I couldn't say it's pretty, depends on which part of Costa del sol you plan to visit. It's not cold, but sometimes could be windy and a bit chilly.

I went to Spain in january and thought it was a great time. we had sunny day in the high 60's and low 70's F. We avoided the crowds and heat and paid low season rates

All I have to say is statistically the weather is changeable. Last year it rained and rained.

When in Marbella, be sure to visit Málaga itself. Great city with a vibrant Andalusian atmosphere. Take a look at the article: "Malaga: Authentic charm of an overlooked treasure":
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/ci...-treasure.html

Have traveled a lot in the region, and the two most memorable stays were both in middle/late November with summertemperatures and peace and quiet (2002 and 2009). About december weather in the Málaga region/Costa del Sol: http://www.malaga-weather.com/article.41.html

"Josele" lives in Málaga. Check his postings for excellent tips on what to do, where to eat etc.
