Costa da Caparica or Cascais
 

We are going to Lisbon early August.

We can't decide on Costa da Caparica or Cascais for a half day at the beach.

Costa da Caparica looks like the beaches we are used to, but Cascais looks like it would be easier to reach.

Any opinions? If Costa da Caparica, what is the easiest way to get there?

CIB. By now you have probably already made your choice. We are going to be on the coast of Lisbon in early August too. We picked Salir do Porto a little way up the coast.
The beaches look great. In fact, the beaches we have seen on the Lisbon coast North of Lisbon look like what we are familiar with. Have a great trip.
