Cost to go from gare to CDG?
Specifically, Le Direct Bus (17 euro )versus cab or other?
Specifically, Gare de Lyon.
how many going?
if two or more can could be just as cheap. Gare du Lyon? RER would not be much cheaper than bus and hassle having to change en route. |
if two or more can could be just as cheap.>
meant not much more - always lots of taxis at station front exit. |
If you are as concerned about cost as you are about words (not even a verb in your 'posts' and of course no hell nor thanks) then take the RER.
It is Gare de Lyon, not du, as Tomboy said. Lyon is a place.
I like the Air France bus, for one person, it is cost-effective. You can save money if you buy online RT. If that's where you want to go, I would do that rather than RER for sure, as it is a lot more relaxing way to go. |
I like the Air France Bus as well.I think it costs 17 euros.
And yes, it'd Gare DE Lyon, Pal. |
de du -duh - ususally get it right but sometimes type without thinking. Duh! Gare duh Lyon?
If there are more than 3 or 4 of you, and with luggage, and if you are not familiar with taking mass transportation, I'd take a regular Parisien taxi to Gare de Lyon. 55 EU from start to finish.
Can 4 folks plus luggage fit in one taxi?
Yes, they can, as there are taxi station wagons and vans that can hold up to 7 people plus luggage. You'd probably have to order one specifically, though, if heading OUT of Paris.
RER D + B = 10 euros per person
Do the cabs take credit card payment?
They are supposd to, but you should ask to make sure.
They are obliged to by law.
What about Uber? Are they allowed into station pick-up areas?
What about Uber? Are they allowed into station pick-up areas?
No |
Thanks! Thought so.
Ask before you get into the taxi, if you plan to use credit cards.
