Cost of cigarettes in Hungary

. . ., Poland and Czech Republic. Please, no lectures about smoking. I just want to know the approximate cost of a pack of cigarettes compared to western Europe and the US. Thanks.

Depend on what kind you want. If you're looking for specific American brands with certain characteristics may be quite expensive.

($2.50 US is the bargain of all time - they're much more than that here.)

I am not a smoker, but my smoking friends tell me there are some great deals on cigs at the airport duty free shops. Could you stock up before flying out of the US?

Just there a few weeks ago, marlboro lights( phillip morris europe) 2.50 u.s. I've been trying to quit so I didn't bring any with me- the marlboro lights there taste different, didn't like them which was good I guess.

I'm already carrying my favorite US brand, so I won't have room at the duty free - outgoing. Thanks for the thought, though.
