Has anyone bookd a trip with Club ABC? My husband an I are considering a trip to Prague and Budapest. I t looks like a great deal for 8 days. Is it too good to be true?

We have taken ABC offers to London and Martinique. They were air and hotel only, and indeed they were good deals. We have not taken the guided tours, but friends of ours have, and thought they were good. I suspect that the guiding might not be the best, but a good value.

I took that trip last year with my daughter and it is a great deal. We had a wonderful experience. The hotels were excellent as were the tours. Go for it.

Have gone to both London and Italy with Club ABC and both were excellent, especially for the amount paid. Good hotels, good tour guide, excellent transport services....if it seems reasonable I'd go for it.

Jon Jon, we are leaving next week for an ABC trip to Sicily. Have you heard anything about this particular trip?
Thanks

We have used ABC for trips to London and Paris and have been pleased with both the accommodations and the service. We had to cancel a trip at the last minute last year and they were very helpful.

Unfortunately, I have not heard anything about Club ABC's Sicily offerings but if they are the same quality as their other Italy offerings I think you will be pleased.

Many years ago, we used ABC to fly to London for a week. We upgraded to a better hotel, got free tickets to the theater and really enjoyed the entire trip. I think it is one of the best bargains in travel where you get to stay in a nice hotel also.

I'll be leaving this week so I will be glad to report back when I get home.
I also think that ABC is a great deal. This trip includes dinners which is a new "tour experience" for us.

Question for those who took the Prague/Budapest tour. Which hotels did you stay at? This year they offer Hotel Diplomat in Prague and Korona or Radisson SAS in Budapest. The upgrade is to Carlo IV (Boscolo) in Prague and Meriden Hotel in Budapest. Is it necessary or advisable to upgrade? Thanks.

My very first trip to Europe was with ABC and have taken quite a few since. I think they do a great job especially for what they charge. Like to make my own arrangements these days but have been looking into their Budapest/Prague trip. For that price I don't see how you can go wrong.

Have done a hotel/flight only trip to London with Club ABC - great value, especially since we were only there for a long weekend. Before I married, I did a guided tour to Spain - Madrid, Seville, Granada - also excellent value. The best of all was the trip we made with Club ABC to Bangkok and Hong Kong - I would have liked to have stayed a bit longer but there was no way we could beat the price (and stay in the nice hotels we did).

No one had mentioned that you must become a Club ABC member but the membership is a low fee and, I think, it is good for 2 years.

We also did the flight/hotel in London for 1 week, great value. Friends took the Eastern Europe with guiding, and thought it was very good.

Just returned from an ABC package called Touch of Tuscany. Stayed at the Hotel Vittorio in Montecatini.
Easily accessible to Montecatini Cetro train and all parts east and west...Lucca, Viareggio to the west/Florence, Pistoia, Prato to the east. If you get the chance definitely book the excursion to Chianti...well worth the money. I can't wait to go back!

We recently went to Hong Kong, Bali and Singapore with club ABC. It was a nice tour, but THEY DIDN'T PICK US UP AT THE AIRPORT IN HONG KONG!!! We managed to get a good samaritan to drive us to our hotel. I am very surprised as all our friends told us they never had trouble with them.

digon - you're topping a thread from 2004 to complain?
