Cosmos Tour - 9 days Prague, Vienna & Budapest

I am considering joining a coach tour with Cosmos for a 9-day trip to Prague, Vienna & Budapest this coming fall, the tour starts and ends in Munich, Germany. I have no previous travel experience with Cosmos, anyone especially those who have taken this particular trip before can share their travel experience with Cosmos & of this tour. Thanks for any feedback.

It helps if you give a link so folks know which tour you are asking about. Is this it?

If that's the right tour it gives you hardly any timne anywhere. Are Prague, Vienna and Budapest the places you really want to see? Because if so, I would fly into Prague and out of Budapest, and take the train from Prague to Vienna to Budapest, and forget about taking a tour. If you're starting from the UK you should be able to fly cheaply on Easyjet.

Are you fully committed to a tour? Many of us have found that these places can be easily visited on one's own. With only 9 days, you might consider visiting just 2 of these 3 wonderful destinations.

I have just booked with Cosmos for this trip for the last week in April. I can let you know what I think when I return. I did find a good review about it on tripadvisor. I travel independently and with groups and did find the the airfare and hotels were much a better rate with this group. So, we will see!

Hi

I have taken 3 tours with Cosmos and can highly recommend them.

If you're not interested in see very much of these cities then the tour would be OK. You only have a day in each location. It doesn't appear that you have any inside visits, only looking at building facades. About half the time you're on your own so you should plan on what you want to do and how to get places.

If you're interested in Prague, Vienna, and Budapest then perhaps a tour that focuses on them would be best.

This post is a year old. It would be interesting to see what the OP did and what he thought of it.

The OP only ever posted this one time and never returned to this or any other thread. (not quite sure why it was topped)
