For a two night base?

I just topped a thread I posted recently with several helpful responses.

Thank you Carmen that was very helpful. Have you been on your trip yet? I would be interested in how you liked your hotel in San Qurirco?

Our trip isn't until NEXT June...I just like to plan ahead :)

Assissi is one of my favorite places in the world. You can walk all over. The basilica is breathtaking. The shopping is great and the food, in just about every restaurant, is heavenly. It's impossible to get a bad meal there.

If you decide to go to Assisi (I havent been to Cortona so cant comment on it) have dinner at Hotel Umbra, off the main piazza. It was the best meal of our honeymoon! Assissi was the hightlight and we went to Edinburgh, London, Rome, Paris, Venice and Assisi. I woudl also highly recommend staying at Hotel Umbra, affordable, in teh cenre of town and wonderful rooms!

Have a fun trip!

Even though it was (temporarily)useful for you to "top" your thread, in twelve hours or less, this thread, and presumably that one also, will be on "page two" or "page three" or no place particualrly close to each other.

Far more useful to give its URL - -

If you "Open in new window" any thread, its URL will show in your browser's address "window".

Best wishes,

Rex

Thanks. It took me some figuring out, but I've learned something new. For others who might want to try this, you "open in a new window" by right-clicking on the thread title on the left side of the screen.
