Cortona - La Bucaccia Cooking Class

Friends of mine took a cooking class at La Bucaccia in Cortona two years ago and raved about it. I will be in Tuscany this May and was hoping to arrange a cooking class at La Bucaccia. During December, I sent two e-mails to La Bucaccia requesting information but have had no response. Last week I completed their online reservation form and again inquired about scheduling a cooking class. To date, no response from La Bucaccia. Does anyone have knowledge of this restaurant in Cortona and perhaps could shed some light on why I have had nor response to three inquiries. Does the restaurant close during the winter? There is no information on their website to indicate a closing. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi macinpv,

I do not know about the class at La Bucaccia, but we are taking one in April at Il Girasole. It came highly recommended to us.

It sometimes works better just to send a fax (the number should be on their website.

Thanks for your responses. I finally did hear from the restaurant after eliciting the help of the Tourist Information Office in Cortona. The restaurant was on vacation mid January to late January. That still does not explain why there was no response to two e-mails sent in early December. Oh well. We are in process of arranging the cooking class so that is what really matters.
