anyone used Corsair Air before<BR><BR>I 've booked a flight to Paris from LA on it

Corsair is an airline that belongs to Nouvelles Frontieres, France's Nr 1 tour operator (now belonging to the German company Neckermann). It's safe and reliable, but, as with all charter airlines, expect to be cramped. I took it once from Montreal to Paris, and I regretted not to have forked the modest extra money (something like $ 80) to go on their "business class". A friend of mine regularly takes Corsair from Paris to Nairobi and raves about it, providing you pay for that extra comfort. Please try to enquire whether it's possible for you to upgrade, it's really worth the money !

I flew Corsair from Paris to Pointe-&agrave;-Pitre (Guadeloupe) last May. New B747-300. Not too much space but better than in Airbus. Upgrade to Grand Large was about 200 euro one-way!!! Good service on board. <BR>Allow at least 3 hours in Orly. Never seen a more chaotic place!

Actually, it's not really TUI that owns NF, it's Preussag (TUI's parent company), but this won't give poor Tsirlin more leg room !

Just heard on the news: TUI announced yesterday it will dismiss 170 Corsair employees. As a consequence, this being France, strikes are on the agenda at Corsair. So watch out, tsirlin !
