I'm a fan of this wonderful show...anyone know where it is filmed, if you can do a tour etc. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

You can get a tour and visit the "street" at Granada studios in Manchester. There is a lot more to see besides that and its well worth the rather lengthy wait you are bound to get within the studios before your tour is next.

According to the Manchester TIC web-site, the Granada Studios tours have been permanently suspended.

Yes, Granada Studio Tours incorporating Coronation St have been permanently closed. The series is still filmed in and around Manchester and they use the original Coronation St set for outdoor scenes.
